Understand Your Salah
- See What You Recited: Upload a recording of the audible portion of your prayer and Understand Salah maps it moment by moment along a playable timeline — recognising Al-Fātiḥah, the passages recited, and each rak'ah.
- From Prayer Back to the Page: Select any moment to see what was detected, then open those exact ayat in Rooted Quran to keep reflecting on the words you stood with.
- A Fair Allowance: Analyses run on a rolling daily allowance, with Salah Plus raising it to four a day, and your remaining count always in view.
- Flexible Recordings: Accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, and MP4 audio up to 64 MB, including voice memos recorded straight from your phone.

A Daily Reflection Widget
- Daily Reflection Widget: Added a new home-screen widget for iPhone and Android that surfaces a reflection question from a passage you have explored, coloured by its theme, with a tap opening it expanded in the app.
- Refreshed Today's Portion Widget: Redesigned the Today's Portion widget for clearer hierarchy so your passage, translation, and daily minimum read cleanly across small, medium, and large — and gave both widgets one shared, calm design.
- Reliable Layout: Stopped the āyah from running under the minutes pill, fixed an Android inflate crash, and made both widgets adapt to every size.

Reading & Audio Refinements
- Word-by-Word Audio: Corrected a stopping-mark off-by-one in the word highlight, trimmed the delay before recitation begins, and fixed word audio occasionally refusing to play while online.
- One Journey at a Time: Finishing a Surah no longer prompts 'you already have a journey' when you go to begin another.
- Daily Moment Setup: Fixed a time-input overflow on the onboarding daily-moment screen.
- Consistent Passage Card: The Home passage card now matches the widget, keeping its āyah to a tidy three lines.

Daily Portions & Word Pronunciation
- A Daily Portion: Home now keeps one calm passage waiting for you, with its translation, your exact place in the Surah, and a one-tap return to the ayah where you left off.
- A Gentle Minimum: Choose a two, five, or ten-minute daily commitment, follow the optional countdown while reading, and see a clear completion state when today's portion is done.
- Tap to Pronounce: Tap any Arabic word in Reading Modes A and B or on the website to hear it spoken, while a long-press still reveals its meaning.
- Your Daily Moment: First-run now helps you choose a reminder time in context, and the repeating reminder opens directly onto your current passage. Both the commitment and countdown can be adjusted later in Settings.
- Home Screen Widgets: Added Today’s Portion widgets for iPhone and Android, mirroring your current passage and daily completion state outside the app with one-tap resume.
- Stronger Offline Reading: The app now restores signed-in readers from the device during a connection outage, opens bundled reading and reciter data without waiting on the network, and clearly distinguishes downloaded audio from audio that still needs a connection.
- Smoother First Session: Added a quiet sound cue as the opening recitation begins and a proper loading handoff when onboarding completes, so the first guided journey never feels stuck.

Battery-Friendly Audio & Smoother Reading
- Lower-Power Word Sync: Replaced the continuous animation loop used for recitation word highlights with a lightweight, timing-aware update that pauses when the app is in the background.
- Smarter Audio Preloading: Reading now waits for a swipe to settle before warming nearby ayat, reducing unnecessary downloads while keeping the next ayah ready when you want to listen.
- Reliable Playback: Audio remains driven by the media element itself, so background playback and the on-screen word position can resynchronise cleanly when you return.

Protecting Your Journal & Clarifying Membership
- Journal Backup: Session answers saved on your device can now be backed up to a free account and restored when you sign in elsewhere, with clear status and retry states when you are offline.
- Fairer Access: Guests can browse useful Surah previews, selected Surahs remain fully open, and membership gates explain exactly what the complete overview adds.
- Thoughtful Prompts: Account and membership invitations now appear at natural moments, with a clean handoff between protecting your journal and exploring membership rather than interrupting the reading itself.

A Calmer Notification Rhythm
- One Daily Rhythm: Reading, reflection, and learning reminders now share one adaptive daily channel instead of competing for your attention.
- Gentle Limits: Ritual reminders are prioritised, same-day notifications are spaced apart, and repeated unopened reminders are gradually throttled.
- Prayer Choice: Choose whether your prayer-time Quran reminder follows Fajr, Maghrib, or Isha, calculated from your timezone without asking for your location.

- Prayer-Aware Reminders: Daily reminders now schedule themselves around Fajr, Maghrib, and Isha using your device's timezone — without ever asking for location permission.
